Privacy Policy

Last updated: 21 August 2026

1. Who we are

Taste of Life (“we”, “us”) is operated by Alexander Katerinko, the data controller responsible for your personal data, based in Cyprus. Contact: alexander.katerinko@gmail.com.

2. What we collect

When you book a retreat or purchase content, we collect: your name, email address, phone number (for retreat bookings, so we can contact you about your booking), and optionally your age. When you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address. Payment card details are handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store them.

3. Why we collect it and our legal basis

We use your data to: process your booking or purchase and provide the service (legal basis: performance of a contract); send you booking confirmations and access links (contract); contact you about your retreat booking (contract); and send newsletters if you opt in (consent, which you may withdraw at any time). Newsletter consent is separate from purchases; buying from us does not subscribe you.

4. Who we share it with

We use trusted third-party processors to run our service: Stripe (payment processing), Resend (transactional emails), MailerLite (newsletter, only if you subscribe), Umami (privacy-friendly website analytics — see section 8), and Railway (secure database and application hosting, located in the European Union). For retreat bookings, your name, email, and phone number are shared with the retreat host (Alexander Katerinko) so they can contact you about your booking. We do not sell your data or share it for advertising.

5. Where your data is stored

Your data is stored within the European Union (Railway, Amsterdam region). Our processors process data in accordance with GDPR safeguards.

6. How long we keep it

We keep booking and purchase records for as long as necessary to provide the service and to meet legal and accounting obligations. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to processing, and to data portability. You may withdraw newsletter consent at any time via the unsubscribe link. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at alexander.katerinko@gmail.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection, Cyprus.

8. Cookies and analytics

Our site uses only essential cookies required for it to function. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. To count visits we use Umami, a privacy-friendly analytics service that sets no cookies and collects no personal data — visitors are not identified and are never tracked across other websites.

9. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time; the “last updated” date above reflects the latest version.
